Sympathy cards for the jobless

This article is talking about a new range of hallmark cards being released in the US. These cards are targeted for people who have lost their job because unemployment is so high. Hallmark is meeting the "demand" in a way and adapting their range to the times. This concept is quite interesting because it has been done before; in the past, Hallmark has also released cards referencing military draft in the 1960s, nuclear warfare and even the Great Depression and more recently, September 11, 2001. I think this is a great way to get more sales by moving with the times because businesses have to keep changing their service to adapt to the context of the times just like hallmark has been doing. This relates to what we have been learning in commerce because this is a strategy to get more sales like we learnt in the promoting and selling topic.
