Brands missing out on customer loyalty

7 Oct 2011, SMH

This article is talking about the retail sector in reference to customer loyalty; with websites like Living Social people are naturally looking towards the cheapest price rather than sticking to one store. This means that the stores are lacking in consistent customers and in turn less sales unless prices start to come down. People are not only looking for cheap deals, they are looking online making it even harder for retailers who don't have online stores. This relates to the business studies topic because part of having a successful business is repeating customers, but that is on the low side at the moment. All of these things are discussed in that article, which we have learnt in commerce.
